Our History:
Sankofa, LLC (SKF) has been sponsoring and providing private and group tutoring since Summer of 2008. On August 18, 2010, we organized and open for business a division devoted primarily to offering affordable math and computer classes under MathHelpUSA.org DBA, operating out of our laboratory located on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Portland, Oregon.
Sankofa, LLC (SKF) was founded in 2002 by Derry Al Jackson Sr., representing a natural transformation of Jackson Concepts, in business he operated since December 29, 1992, then as a sole proprietorship. Jackson registered the company as Limited Liability Corporation, chartered by the state of Oregon, July 7th, 2002. Operating under Jackson Concepts, primarily focused on engineering research and product development company, Jackson successfully achieved the company’s first patent issued by the US Office of Patents and Trademarks in 1999, number 60/030,805.
From its early years as a sole proprietorship, the company has consistently demonstrated a commitment to community, in particular to the children, as evidenced in our proud association Pier Park Little League sponsoring Jackson Concepts T-Ball team in the mid 1990’s.

Designed to hold the TrueMathematics Index, we offer access to this website FREE, in hopes that it steer residual business to our tutoring network. Here, we have synthesize all of the various “math learning skills” a student must study, from Pre-Kindergarten on upwards to Calculus, identifying over 7000 skills, we dubbed “Math Cookies.” We anticipate incorporating this resource into our product and service offerings in ways yet to be initialized.
