Ball-Strike-Ratio

Description

Ball-strike ratio is a self-managing tool hitters can use to analyze and assess their decision making skills at the plate. Working in tandem with a scribe (someone who can score each at bat), the hitter can use data, accounting for his decision to swing or not swing at balls and/or strikes.  The result being a ratio not entirely unlike a Batting Average, but this one care less on what happens to the ball, but more so on whether the hitter swung at the pitch or not.

As hitter train their skills at swinging only at strikes, the Batting Average and Slugging percentages will follow.
